Am-C-G-D (played throughout the song)
Ever wonder what your name was on your past life?
Were you struck by lightning?
Were you killed by cops on the run?
And every headlight
Struck by your face and your bones collide
Do you remember? Do you remember?
And every thousand miles
You’re crawlin’, standin’ and you’re runnin’out
Do you remember? Do you remember?
Ever remembered what's your name did you leave it back there?
Ever remembered what you’re afraid of?
When you’re down on the floor
Begging ‘no more’
And every headlight
Struck by your face and your bones collide
Do you remember? Do you remember?
And every thousand miles
You’re crawlin’, standin’ and you’re runnin’out
Do you remember? Do you remember?
Ever remembered the nights when you stayed up late
Waiting fo someone through that door
And no one ever did.
And every headlight
Struck by your face and your bones collide
Do you remember? Do you remember?
And every thousand miles
You’re crawlin’, standin’ and you’re runnin’out
Do you remember? Do you remember?
Ever remembered the face you woke up thinking of.
You’re sleeping now.
But you’ll wake up somehow..

Run Away
by: Mel John Bejar
Verse: Em-C-G-Am
I’ve lived like this before
You came into my life
Like dull-clouds racing through
The current of life alone
I’ve lived like the ghost of my past
That open and close
Pre-chorus: Em-C-G-Am
Tired of all the waiting
Tired of all the seeking
Better lead a life on my own
So,
Chorus: C-G-Am
(Ohh-Woah-ohh)
I got to go
(Ohh-Woah-ohh)
Won’t hold on to you
(Ohh-Woah-ohh)
I just want to go
Verse: Em-C-G-Am
Look at all these figurines
Lifeless, stare less, doesn’t care
I wish I could be just like them
Pre-chorus: Em-C-G-Am
If only you were here for me
Wipe away these tears for me
We’ll watch all the stars fade away (but you walked away)
(CHORUS)
Would you stay or come with me?
Pack your bags we’ll run away
With me to a paradise
To a paradise
(Chorus Slowly)
(Chorus)

Shut up and Play
This is a fast paced short story(not really) about a boy waking up late in a very important event. Later on he finds himself infront of a roaring crowd. What will he do? Who is Black Mary? Why the hell did it rain in the middle of a very hot day? Will he fill his empty stomach? Find out!
------
The morning was hot. The bed was warm. I overheard thunderous screams of people somewhere. I uncluttered my eyes just to see the sunbeams striking through the window blinders. It was an important day but I do not really know what it is. I cuddled on my phone and opened some text messages. Suddenly, a grasp of adrenalin crammed excitement rushed down to every part of me. I suddenly remembered what today was!
I quickly put some clothes on and rushed down stairs. No time for breakfast. No time to take a bath. I am out of time! As I rushed outside, I stumbled upon a very hectic highway. Jam-packed with cars inching to get through the tight traffic. “It was like an inch an hour” I said to myself. I had no other option. I ran as fast as I could, had to take a quick detour down to the shop. I left Black Mary there, to be polished and tuned. The sun was getting higher, the clock was ticking and I could hear every snap that it sounded like the screams I heard this morning.
I could spot the shop up ahead and I was very relieved to see its ‘COME IN WE ARE OPEN’ sign on the front door. I sighed to see Carlos carrying Black Mary and handed it to me. “You’re late” he said with a pat on my back. I had no time to talk. I seized Black Mary and smiled at Carlos. I took off.
Along the way, sprinkles of water began to fall over my cheek. I could feel the sun’s heat on my hair but “Why is it raining in the middle of a very hot day?” I asked myself. I desperately shielded Black Mary with my black coat just in time before the rain could slip through its mechanics. She was more important than anything else at this instant. As soon as I could comprehend, the rain was gone. The sprinkles of water was no rain, it was water coming from the hose of a fire truck on the other side. A hotel building was burning. But, this is not what I came here for. It’s not my problem. It’s theirs. So, I move on.
I speed up my tempo, quickly moving on as each step passed. I was literally running like a horse. Jumped every trash can, dodge every person I met on the sidewalk and even skipped dumpsters just to take a short route to where I was going.
Finally, I heard those screams again. I followed it through a dense crowd of people, vendors and street passers. I saw Josh upstage with a pair of saber like sticks. Rey with his axe like music machine, and I won’t forget Carl with his devious 5-bullet bass. They were holding up for 10-minutes now. The crowd was anxious and weary but still they screamed as I climbed my way upstage. I lift up Black Mary with my worn-out arms and gently laying its strap on my dog-tired shoulders then cast out the amp. My heart was throbbing, my sweat was freezing and I couldn’t honestly hear what I’m thinking. I approached the center as I beef up a note. The crowd began to roar. Trembled, I had to do it with an empty stomach, exhausted and bewildered. I could feel the cold microphone rubbing against my lip . . . and I sing.
